April was an exciting month. We all couldn’t wait for our annual talent show.  But first we learned about faith and even got to our own seeds that will grow into beautiful flowers;  we rehearsed for the talent show;  and when it was time, we performed for our loved ones and friends.  Thanks to everyone who showed up for the talent show and those who performed.  A Special thanks to Nathan who is the best MC ever!

I Want You to be Happy

 This is a post I forgot to Publish in March.  Sorry.  
"I Want You to be Happy Day" is an unselfish day. Its a thought that we wish upon others that we care for or love.

Celebrate today by doing more than wishing someone is happy. Do something to make others happy.

We had such a fun time in February with our activities.We learned so much.  Didn't we have fun with our Valentine's Day Dance?  A special thanks to Western Hills 2nd Ward Young women for helping out.  Also a big thank you to Sister Mechling for teaching us three new dances.  We learned the waltz, Boot Scootin Boogie, and the Electric Slide.  

Movie night was great.  We saw Junior's Giants and ate popcorn.  Lots and lots of popcorn.

We had a bird presentation.  We saw falcons, owls, and hawks and learned a little about them.  Everyone was able to pet one.  Thank you Brother and Sister Pope.  It was amazing.

Happy International Beaver Day

This is the Post for the Month of APRIL

March was super packed with activities with SNAP.  We learned about police officers and their job and how to make us safe with Officer Zierse.  We dances an Irish Jig for St. Patrick's Day and tried to find leprechauns.  Brother Bawden, aka Lawrence, even taught us a new song, Bill Brogans Goat.  That was a fun song.  

We had a special treat when Sister Bawden, aka Donna,  had a special singing time for our Easter Activity.  We all wore our Sunday Best and learned about the Life of Jesus and sang songs about his life.  We then had a fun time decorating Easter Eggs and coloring.

Thank you for the following who came to help us out with our activities:  Officer Zierse and kids, Bennion 12th ward Young Women, and Taylorsville 16th Ward Young Women and Young Men.

It’s been fun getting to know all our new leaders at SNAP.  Aren’t they great?  We have so much fun when we get together.  In January we colored, played with playdough, and had a snowball fight.  Best of all was our birthday party.  We danced, played bingo, and don’t forget the yummy cupcakes.

Hey friends.  Happy National Hugging Day.  When we meet tonight remember to give all our brothers and sisters hugs.

  We love everyone at SNAP.  Speaking of SNAP, we have changed our name from KSNM to SNAP (Special Needs Activity Program).  The newsletter will be the the same email address ksnmfriends@gmail.com but the new blog address will be snapfriends1.blogspot.com.  Save it to your favorites.  

We had a fun time getting to know all the new leaders and all the new leaders getting to know all of us.  We had a great time with our snowball fight.  That was so much fun. See ya all tonight.
