Epic Halloween Party

We have had fun this October. The brothers watched movies and had lessons.  The sisters have had fun also with lessons of forgiveness and craft activities for General Conference.  Most of all, all of our friends, brothers, and sisters really looked forward to the Halloween Party.  It was amazing.

 A big thanks for Dana, Kelly, Donna, Leif, DeeAnne, Mr. Trump( AKA: DAVE), Jordan and the rest of the Leaders for all the hard work they did to pull off the Epic Party.

We are all in this together

All of us a Kearns Special Needs Mutual want to welcome Brother and Sister Johns to the family.  They will be helping us out with activities, lessons, and getting to know all of us as brothers and sisters.  Please give them a warm welcome when you see them.  

Last week the sisters had a craft activity making bookmarks and halloween bead necklaces.  The brothers had a lesson.

Happy Fluffernutter Day

Hey everyone.  Happy Fluffernutter Day.  What goes better than peanut butter and gooey marshmallow cream on toasted bread?  It is you of course.  All our friends at Kearns Special Needs Mutual are the best!!!!

Last week the girls had a lesson on following the prophet and General Conference.  The guys watched a movie and ate popcorn.  Lots and lots of popcorn.  

We hope everyone had the opportunity to watch Conference this last weekend and learned something new.  We will see you tonight.  

Are we having fun?

Is everyone having fun yet?  It's finally Fall.  The leaves are changing colors, it is getting colder, and now we can get ready for Halloween.  Well, almost.  

The last two weeks of KSNM was fun. We had lessons about letting your light shine and learning about leaves and nature.  We also learned about stories from the Bible and learning about the gospel.  Thanks to our friend Tara  who sang us the song "This Little Light of Mine."  If you need the song stuck in you head again, Here are the words:

Are We Having Fun?

Haven't we had fun the past 2 weeks?  Opening Social was so much fun.  We had a Beach party and a "whale" of a good time.  Our friend Donna helped everyone make necklaces to wear and we had inflatable bowling.    We all feasted on sandwiches, chips. Can you say yum?   All our friends took home a sackful of goodies.  It was a fun day.

Last week we had the Kearns High School Madrigals come visit.  They had all our friend make pinwheels out of paper and pencils.  They even sang to us. They sang the Star Spangled Banner and Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree.  Thanks Madrigals.  You guys are the best!!

Welcome Back to Special Needs Mutual.

Hey everyone. Welcome back to another fun year of Kearns Special Needs Mutual.  We are going to have a great year with all our friends. We want to welcome all our leaders back. We have a few new leaders.  Welcome Chris Parkinson, Dave Woolley and Janet Woolley. Glad you can join us.
